Where can you meet sharks and giant sea turtles, explore the amazing world under the sea without diving or getting wet, and get familiar with “Aliens of The Deep”?

Eilat's Underwater Observatory with its coral reef and amazing exhibitions is a unique place to visit when in Israel.

In addition to their regular attractions, they recently opened their new “Aliens of The Deep” 3D exhibition where you can learn about the amazing creatures that live deep down in the ocean, where the sun never shines. Down there, thanks to extreme cold conditions and water pressure, a team of scientists, were able to closely document the life that has never before been revealed.

Also, don’t miss “Shark World”, an interactive visitor's center with a transparent tunnel in the midst of the giant shark pool.

More at the observatory: introductory scuba diving in the Bubble Pool (call ahead), the Oceanarium experience, tours in Observatory Glass Boat, a peek at the view from the Observatory Tower, a captivating visit to the Rare fish Aquarium, and much more. Check their website for feeding hours.
