Birdwatching in the Hula Valley is by far one of the most exciting experiences one can have at five o'clock in the morning. The Safari Wagon at the Agamon Hahula Nature Reserve leaves exactly at 05:15AM, and this is one ride you don't want to miss, so get your camera ready and lets go!
The new Galilion Hotel lays conveniently close to the entrance to the Agamon Hahula Nature Reserve. Yawning widely and equipped with the finest cameras and video recording gear, teams from TV stations and broadcasting networks all over the world, make their way through the entrance of the Nature Reserve to climb onboard the awaiting Safari Wagon together with curious tourists, families and birdwatchers.
Usually it's almost impossible to see wild cranes up close, since normally the entire flock would fly off if anyone gets near. But when we're seated quite comfortably in this 50-seat Safari Wagon that is somewhat camouflaged and pulled by a John Deere tractor, we get the best seats in the house of Mother Nature's beautiful bird paradise - Agamon Hahula.

Agamon Hahula in Israel is one of the most important bird migrating paths in the whole world. During spring and autumn more than 500 million birds of more than 400 species will make their way through this amazing nature reserve.
Many birds will nest here during the summer and the winter.
This is definitely an experience you'll want to cherish forever and write home about.
Don't forget to call ahead for reservations and an updated schedule. Dress warmly if it's a cold foggy morning and don't forget to bring some serious photographing gear.
